Wilde Irish Chocolates

Wilde Irish Chocolates is an artisan chocolate factory in Tuamgraney, County Clare, on the shores of Lough Derg in Ireland’s Hidden Heartlands. Established in 1997, it describes itself as County Clare’s original chocolate factory, and its chocolates are still made by hand at the small outlet in the village.

The range runs to more than eighty products, from filled boxed chocolates and chocolate bars to fudge, hot chocolate and chocolate spreads, with flavour combinations that pair rich chocolate with unexpected fillings. The brand takes its name and playful spirit from Oscar Wilde, and its work has been recognised by Guaranteed Irish and Good Food Ireland.

Visitors are welcome at the working factory, and entry to look around is free. On-site you will find a chocolate shop and a Hot Chocolate Café and Coffee Dock, while bookable experiences include a behind-the-scenes factory tour with tastings and a Build Your Own Chocolate Bar session, with options suited to families and small groups.
