53 Degrees North

53 Degrees North is an outdoor clothing and equipment shop in Cork city centre, County Cork. It occupies Unit 7 of the Cornmarket Centre on Cornmarket Street, and is a wholly Irish-owned outdoor retailer with more than two decades in the trade that also runs stores in Dublin, at Blanchardstown and Carrickmines.

The shop stocks gear and apparel for a wide range of outdoor pursuits, including hiking, walking, camping, climbing, running, kayaking, sailing, skiing and trekking. Alongside jackets, footwear and technical clothing, it carries rucksacks, insulated bottles and accessories, and a broad selection of well-known outdoor brands such as The North Face, Patagonia, Columbia, Salomon, Meindl, Osprey and Rab.

Staff are on hand to advise on choosing suitable clothing and equipment for the hills, coast and countryside, whether that means waterproofs, boots or a full kit for a longer trip.
