Aura Youghal Leisure Centre

Aura Youghal Leisure Centre is a public swimming and fitness facility at Claycastle in the coastal town of Youghal, County Cork. Part of the Aura Leisure network of centres across Ireland, it caters for all ages and levels of fitness, and you don’t need to be a member to use it, as pay-as-you-go options are available alongside memberships.

The pool area is built around a 25-metre swimming pool, complemented by a learner pool, a fun feature pool and a 65-metre water slide, making it well suited to families as well as regular swimmers. Swimming lessons are offered for adults, children and babies. A sauna and steam room are also on site for relaxation after a session in the water.

On the fitness side, the centre has a gymnasium fitted with cardio machines and a weightlifting area, along with a fully equipped aerobics studio that hosts a busy weekly timetable of group exercise classes. Free on-site car parking is provided, and advance booking is recommended for the pool and classes.
