Bere Island (East End Pier)

The East End Pier is one of Bere Island’s landing points, in Bantry Bay off County Cork’s Beara Peninsula. Ferries connecting the island with the mainland use the island’s piers, making this a practical arrival and departure point for visitors, residents and boats. From the pier there are views across the sheltered bay to the surrounding hills, and it serves as a starting point for exploring the island’s lanes and coast.
