Profile
Bofey Quinn’s Music Bar and Restaurant sits on Main Street in the village of Corofin, County Clare, on the southern edge of the Burren. A family-run bar and restaurant, it makes a natural stopping point for anyone exploring the surrounding countryside, lying roughly 35 minutes from Shannon Airport and within easy reach of the Burren, the Aillwee Caves and the music village of Doolin.
The kitchen serves a varied menu that takes in fresh seafood, steaks, burgers and pizza alongside traditional Irish dishes, with vegetarian and gluten-free options also available. Both the bar and the restaurant are warmed by open coal fires, and the staff are happy to share local knowledge and suggestions for places to visit nearby.
Traditional music is central to the place. During the season, sessions run in the bar on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday, with open sessions that welcome visiting musicians to join in. The combination of good food, a friendly welcome and live trad music has made it a popular gathering spot for locals and visitors to the area alike.
