Clare Day Tours

Clare Day Tours is a guided touring service based at Clareville House in Tuamgraney, County Clare, in the East Clare region close to the shores of Lough Derg. Run by Derek Browne, the business arranges private, customised tours for individuals and small groups, travelling in a comfortable nine-seater vehicle that typically carries up to eight passengers, with larger group arrangements available on request.

Itineraries are tailored to each visitor’s interests and cover many of the best-known sights in Clare and the wider west of Ireland. Destinations regularly include the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Loop Head, Ennis, Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, and Craggaunowen, along with local East Clare routes and the drive around Lough Derg. Further afield, tours can take in Limerick and Galway cities, Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, the Dingle Peninsula and the Ring of Kerry.

As well as single-day outings, the company offers multi-day tours with overnight stops, airport transfers, and transport for weddings, golf outings and sporting events. A sister taxi service, East Clare Cabs, operates alongside the tour business.
