County Cavan Golf Club

County Cavan Golf Club is an 18-hole parkland course set among the rolling drumlins of the Cavan countryside, in Ireland’s Lakeland region roughly an hour and a half from both Dublin and Belfast. Laid out as two returning nines of par 35, the tree-lined course plays to a par of 70 and measures around 6,164 yards from the back tees, with its fairways framed by mature woodland and water coming into play on several holes.

The club has a long history, having been founded in 1894 with a modest nine-hole layout at Killynebber before moving to its present home at Arnmore House, Drumelis, in 1920. The clubhouse at Arnmore House was opened in 1972, and the first competition over a full 18-hole course was played in 1975. The back nine was redesigned in 2004 to USGA standards under golf architect Arthur Spring, adding new tees and greens to the layout.

The clubhouse offers views across the course and includes a bar where visitors can gather after a round. The club welcomes members, visiting golfers and societies, and holds Fáilte Ireland Approved status. Full details of green fees, tee times and opening hours are available directly from the club.
