Element Wellness

Element Wellness is an outdoor wellness experience set on the West Cork coast, near Dunworley Beach and Maloneys (Moloney) Strand in the Clonakilty and Courtmacsherry area of County Cork. Overlooking the Atlantic along the Wild Atlantic Way, it brings sauna bathing and cold-water immersion to the shoreline in an open, natural setting.

The experience pairs traditional Finnish saunas, which look out over the sea, with custom-built plunge pools and ice baths for cold-water dipping. The contrast of heat and cold is a long-standing wellness practice, and here it is combined with fresh sea air and coastal views. A coffee truck serving West Cork Coffee is on hand so visitors can warm up with a hot drink after a session.

Sessions typically run on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays at the beach, and free parking is available nearby. As sessions are held outdoors on set days, it is worth checking the operator’s website or social media for current dates, times and booking before travelling. Element Wellness also runs corporate wellness programmes and occasional retreat events.
