Fountainstown

Fountainstown is a sheltered sandy beach on the coast of County Cork, a short drive south of Cork city. Facing the sea within a gentle bay, it is a popular spot for a walk along the shore, a family day out, or a paddle when the weather allows. The relatively calm setting and easy access make it a favourite with locals from Cork and the surrounding villages. As with much of the Cork coastline, the surroundings are green and low-lying, with plenty of open sky and sea views to enjoy at any time of year.
