Kilkee Thalassotherapy Centre

Kilkee Thalassotherapy Centre is a family-run spa and guesthouse on Grattan Street in Kilkee, County Clare, on the Loop Head Peninsula. Purpose-built and opened in 1999, it stands about 100 metres from the town’s EU Blue Flag beach, in one of Ireland’s oldest seaside resorts.

The centre specialises in marine-based treatments, drawing on the natural seaweed and heated seawater of the surrounding coast. Its services include traditional seaweed baths, seaweed wraps and facials, massage, a sauna and steam room, and a range of beauty treatments.

Alongside the spa, the centre offers guesthouse accommodation with five bedrooms and private parking. Non-residents are welcome to book treatments, and day, midweek and weekend packages can be arranged. Booking ahead is advisable during the summer season.

Kilkee sits on a fine stretch of the Clare coast, within reach of cliff walks, scenic drives, swimming and other seaside activities on the Loop Head Peninsula.
