Michael O'Sullivan Photography

Michael O’Sullivan Photography is the practice of award-winning photographer Michael O’Sullivan, based in Cork, County Cork. Working across commercial, landscape, fashion and portrait photography, he is perhaps best known for his personal fine-art work, which he describes as “Conceptual Fantasy Art” and which draws on the painters of the Renaissance, Baroque and Romantic eras as well as 20th-century fantasy artists.

O’Sullivan is a Fellow of both the Irish Photographic Federation and the Royal Photographic Society. He is the founder and former chairman of the Cork International Salon of Photography and a former president of the Irish Photographic Federation, and his work has been published nationally and internationally.

Alongside his own image-making, he runs workshops for photographers of all levels, from beginners to advanced practitioners and professionals, covering composition, shooting, lighting, processing and printing. He is a lecturer and workshop leader for Canon Ireland, and he also offers fine-art prints and photo tours. Pre-booking is advised for workshops and sessions.
