Oliver International Fishing Centre

The Oliver International Fishing Centre is a family-run angling centre at Loughdooly, near Belturbet in County Cavan. It sits on the shore of the River Erne, around 3km from Belturbet village, and has been welcoming visiting anglers since it was established in 1986. Founded and run by the Neuville family, French residents of Ireland, the centre has a distinctly French character, with much of its signage and its restaurant menus presented in French.

The centre specialises in coarse and pike angling holidays, drawing on the well-stocked waters of the Erne, Woodford and Finn rivers and their surrounding lakes. These waters hold good numbers of pike, bream and roach, making the area a long-established base for pike fishing in particular. Boats and engines are available for hire, and staff can arrange transport from Dublin Airport as well as to the various lakes.

On-site the centre offers a range of practical facilities for anglers, including bait and tackle, drying facilities and free parking, alongside a restaurant and accommodation. The combination of riverside cottages, dining and easy access to extensive fishing waters makes it a self-contained base for a fishing trip in this quiet part of the Cavan lakelands.
