Purecamping Retreat

Purecamping Retreat is an eco-friendly glamping and yoga retreat at Querrin, on the Loop Head Peninsula in County Clare. Set within acres of native woodland close to the Wild Atlantic Way and the Shannon Estuary, it offers a quiet, low-impact base for a coastal break in the south-west of the county. The site now also operates under the name Pure Space.

Accommodation ranges from furnished bell tents to private off-grid wooden cabins with wood-burning stoves, along with space for traditional camping. Shared facilities include a yoga and meditation studio, a communal kitchen, a wood-fired sauna, a pizza oven and an on-site labyrinth for reflective walks. Owners Trea and Kevin run yoga and meditation sessions on the property, and the retreat hosts themed wellness weekends through the season.

The surrounding area suits an active or restful stay in equal measure, with nearby beaches and coves for swimming, bog roads and woodland trails for walking and cycling, and further options such as horse riding, dolphin watching and the local heritage trail. A range of places to eat and drink can be found across the peninsula.
