Sunfort English Language College

Sunfort English Language College is an English-language school set in the countryside near Liscarroll and Mallow, in the north of County Cork. It occupies a traditional country house on a working dairy farm in the Golden Vale, an area of rich farmland close to where the borders of Cork, Limerick and Kerry meet.

The college specialises in welcoming groups of junior students, aged roughly 8 to 18, for English tuition combined with a full programme of leisure activities. Its courses are designed to let younger learners improve their English while experiencing everyday Irish country life, and the school is recognised by the National Qualifications Authority of Ireland. Students staying on the grounds are accommodated in shared en-suite rooms with full board included.

Alongside classroom study, the programme leans heavily on Irish culture and the outdoors. Activities on offer have included Gaelic games, hurling and football, Irish dancing and music sessions, horse-riding, golf, fishing, hiking and cycling, together with organised day trips further afield.
