The Castle Spa at Dromoland

The Castle Spa at Dromoland sits within the grounds of Dromoland Castle at Newmarket on Fergus, County Clare. Set on the estate near the shores of Lough Dromoland, the spa offers a calm setting for treatments and relaxation a short distance from the castle itself.

The spa has six treatment rooms, including a twin suite for couples or friends, along with two dedicated manicure and pedicure rooms and a quiet relaxation space known as the Whisper Room. Treatments draw on skincare from Dr Barbara Sturm, Seabody and OSKIA, as well as botanicals and natural ingredients sourced from the surrounding estate. An outdoor jacuzzi adds to the experience.

A short stroll or golf-cart transfer from the spa, the estate’s Leisure Centre houses a 17-metre indoor pool with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the golf course, a fully equipped gym, a sauna and steam room, and a jacuzzi. Together the facilities make the spa a comfortable place to unwind during a stay in County Clare or as part of a day visit.
