Cliffs View Cafe, Cliffs of Moher

The Cliffs View Café sits on the first floor of the Cliffs of Moher Visitor Centre at Liscannor, County Clare, giving diners panoramic views over the cliffs and Liscannor Bay while they eat. It is a practical place to pause and refuel during a visit to the cliffs, with an eco-friendly ethos and a focus on local produce.

The café runs on a self-service basis, with two cashiers serving a 120-seat restaurant. The menu leans on the best of County Clare, including local seafood, vegetables, cheese, ice cream, smoked fish, dairy and baked goods, with meat sourced and traceable to Clare farms. You might drop in for a coffee and a freshly baked scone in the morning, a bowl of chowder or the soup of the day at lunchtime, or a fuller lunch plate. Special dietary requirements are catered for, with gluten-free, dairy-free, lactose-free, vegan and vegetarian options available.

Seating is limited, and the café does not take reservations from May to September, its busiest months. During the quieter period from October to April, staff will do their best to accommodate guests who wish to book ahead.
