JP Clarke's Country Pub

JP Clarke’s Country Pub sits in the village of Bunratty in County Clare, on the Old Bunratty Road. A country pub and gastropub, it has reclaimed flagstone floors, timber beams, brick and stone walls and open fires, with décor that takes its cue from traditional Irish homes. The space is bright and fresh by day and turns warm and candlelit in the evenings, and there are landscaped gardens that change with the seasons.

The kitchen works to seasonal menus built around fresh local produce, turning out classic dishes with a modern twist alongside everyday bar food. There are separate lunch, evening, Sunday and children’s menus, and the pub caters for a range of dietary needs. Food is served seven days a week, and table reservations can be made online or by phone.

The pub is a popular spot for celebrations, hosting family gatherings, birthdays, parties, weddings, corporate events and tour groups. There is ample parking and free WiFi on site. Its children’s menu, JP Juniors, was a regional winner at the Irish Restaurant Awards in 2019, and the pub was a regional Best Food Pub winner at the Irish Pub Awards in 2017.
