Traditional Irish Night at Bunratty Folk Park

Traditional Irish Night is an evening of food, music and dance held at the Corn Barn within Bunratty Folk Park in Bunratty, County Clare. The show brings together singers, dancers and musicians from the local area for a programme that traces the story of Irish dance from mythical times through to modern step dancing, woven together with tales of life in Ireland in days gone by.

Guests are welcomed with a glass of mead or Baileys and served a meal of traditional Irish fare before the entertainment begins. The performance blends traditional and contemporary music with step dancing, fiddle playing and the singing of ballads, and there is every chance you will find yourself tapping your feet, clapping along and perhaps even picking up a step or two.

The evening typically runs to around two and a half to three hours, so it makes a relaxed way to round off a day exploring the folk park and Bunratty Castle. Traditional Irish Night usually operates from April to October, and as places are limited, reservations are recommended.
