River Spa at the Falls Hotel

The River Spa is the dedicated spa at the Falls Hotel & Spa in Ennistymon, County Clare, set on the banks of the River Inagh in the west of Ireland. The spa occupies a rustic setting behind the hotel, with several of its treatment rooms housed in restored stable buildings dating from the 1700s that connect through to the main hotel and leisure facilities.

The spa has twelve treatment rooms in all, including couples’ rooms and a relaxation room overlooking the river and gardens. Treatments cover massage, facials, body scrubs, dry floats, bathing rituals, waxing, tinting, nails and make-up, using products from Elemis and Voya. A thermal suite adds an experience shower, sauna and steam room.

Spa guests also have use of the hotel’s Aqua Club, which is interconnected with the spa and makes a natural prelude to a treatment. Facilities here include a 20-metre swimming pool, a Jacuzzi, a hydrotherapy pool, a sauna and steam room, and an outdoor hot tub looking out over the river. Spa days can be arranged with lunch or afternoon tea added.
