Foust Gallery

Foust Gallery is a studio gallery on Main Street in Ennistymon, the traditional market town in County Clare on the edge of the Burren. It is the working space of artist Sara Foust, who opened it as a community gallery in 2016. Her paintings capture the landscapes of the surrounding area, from the rivers and woodland around Ennistymon to the cliffs and seas of the North Clare coast, and visitors are often able to watch her at work while they browse.

Alongside Sara Foust’s own paintings, the gallery presents a range of fine craft by local makers, including jewellery, turned wood, ceramics, metalwork and bog oak sculpture, as well as gifts and cards. It serves as an anchor gallery for the Ennistymon Art Trail and has featured in documentaries about the Burren and the local area.

The gallery is free to enter and open to the public, generally welcoming visitors from March to December. It is fully wheelchair accessible, and assistance dogs are permitted. As opening times can vary, it is worth checking current details before travelling.
