The Front Bar and Restaurant at the Emmet Hotel

The Front Bar and Restaurant is the dining side of the Emmet Hotel, set on Emmet Square in the town of Clonakilty, County Cork, within the Wild Atlantic Way region of West Cork. It serves as a place to eat and drink through the day, with breakfast prepared to order, lunch from midday and menus available until 10pm seven days a week.

The kitchen draws on ingredients from producers and artisans around Ireland and West Cork, with menus built around local and seasonal produce. Children’s menus and a range of dietary requirements are catered for, and the drinks list runs from a chosen selection of wines to craft beers alongside local gins, whiskeys and other spirits.

Guests can settle in the Front Bar itself, which keeps an old-world feel with a mahogany bar, traditional floor tiles and leather seating, or dine in the Garden Restaurant or the Emmet Garden when the weather allows. The bar hosts live music on Sundays, and the wider space is also used for indoor and outdoor gatherings, celebrations and garden barbecues. Free car parking is available on site.
